Subject	What is this crank pulley "key"

Message	I already installed mu UD pulley, and was noticing it said on the tech page not to loose the key to maintain alignment? When I removed my old pulley, nothing fell out or was attached to the pulley... I just "felt" the two grooves and put it in. Anyone have pics of the so called "key"? BEST 1/4mile 12.29 @ 112mph.
